Do read Captain Corelli's Mandolin - it is SO much better than the film!
Eats, Shoots and Leaves - the zero tolerance approach to punctuation! by Lynne Truss. A very funny book which makes you (well, me anyway) want to walk round with a black marker pen.
The Bad Mother's Handbook by Kate Long. Humerous and moving.
If you like the Harry Potter series, you may well enjoy the Eragon books by Christopher Paolini.
I have so many more books that I love, but thought I'd better stop there.
Enjoy!
PS. I managed 51 out of the list too - but a quite different 51!
I love to read! ... my friends dont get it, but i dont really expect them too teehee....
